We are all human, we all have tough times and we are all trying to make our way through life. Some of us have worse days more than others, it all depends on the day, but we all have our struggles.
No matter how hard you try you are always going to have your struggles, that is life.
God puts us through certain situations for a reason.
To Help Us Learn
We are put through situations and seasons of life for a reason. God does not put us through difficult times to punish us, he puts us through difficulties to help us learn from them. He always has something to teach us. Even if we cannot see it now, everything will be made clearer down the road. There is a reason for this season, and he will get you through it. God will not put you through anything that he has not prepared you for and that he knows you cannot handle. Lean on him for support.
“For this is why I wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in everything.” – 2 Corinthians 2:9
To Help Us Grow
Throughout our lives God is testing us to make sure that we are for him and spreading his love. We are often put in tempting situations that may lead us to rebel against him. These are tests and they are meant to help us grow and to strengthen us. With every trial we go through, we get stronger as people. If you are faced with temptation but do not give in, you will come out stronger and temptation will get easier to resist them or you are faced with it. Continue to stay strong in faith and trust that the Lord will guide you through every situation. He is always by your side. He only wants the best for you and is helping you grow.
To Gain Our Trust
God tests us to analyze our faith. He wants to be sure that he can trust us, and that we are faithful to him. The more faithful we are to him, the more he can trust us and will send us to spread his light to other people. We should also trust him and trust that he will take care of us and guide us through any situation that comes our way.
We all have problems, difficulties and challenges every single day. They cannot be avoided or ignored. We need to face them head on, and if you trust in God to help you, you will be stronger.
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4
